Marimba is a beautiful looking and sounding instrument. The Marimba is becoming more and more popular through drum corps performances throughout the United States. I provide the education needed for those seeking out marimba lessons in the San Antonio area.
That being said, the marimba and other keyboard instruments are a big part of high school band programs now more than ever. Students are required to learn two mallet and four mallet technique. The music has become much more challenging thus, the level of expertise is much higher.
In your marimba lessons you will learn starting from the basics. Holding the mallets: two and four mallet. You will learn mallet technique. Reading treble clef and bass clef. playing music… including whatever you might be working on in school. I will help you with any performances or competitions you are getting ready for. My goal is to make you the best you can be.
